Let's get your setup wired up.
Eight steps. About 30 minutes. Focus mode — no distractions.
KE Algo isn't an instant edge. It's a methodology you wire up once, then run for months. We won't talk you into going live before you're ready — we'd rather you stay on paper for 15+ trades than panic-close your first loss in live mode.

Time: ~3 minutes · Who: All tiers · Walkthrough video: coming soon

Where you are: Step 1 of 6. This is the easiest one — pick a tier, pay, get welcomed. The rest of the wizard walks you through the technical setup.
What you'll accomplish
Pick the tier that matches what you want, pay through Stripe, receive your welcome email within 1 minute. You're set up for Step 2 immediately after.
Steps
a. Go to kingdomedgealgo.com/#pricing.
b. Pick your tier: - Core — $49/mo · indicators only · manual trading · all 4 trade indicators on TradingView - Pro — $99/mo · adds KE Screener (20 tickers · daily watchlist scan) + AI chatbot + Pro Discord - Ultimate — $249/mo · adds full automation via TradersPost (broker-neutral — Alpaca recommended default; your broker, your keys, revocable anytime) - Concierge — $499/mo · Mentor Track, by application only · KE-hosted infrastructure · monthly Discord automation call
If you're unsure, Pro is the most-chosen tier — it gives you the methodology + the screener + community access without the operational responsibility of running a bot.
c. Click the Get [Tier] Access button on your chosen card.
d. Enter your name, email, and payment method. Click Subscribe.
e. You'll see a "Thank you for subscribing!" confirmation page on kingdomedgealgo.com.
✅ You should now see
- The Stripe confirmation page
- A welcome email from
support@kingdomedgealgo.comarriving in your inbox within 1 minute (check spam if not) - A receipt email from Stripe (same timing)
If you don't see the welcome email
- Wait 2 minutes — sometimes there's a slight delay
- Check your Spam / Promotions tab
- If still nothing after 5 minutes, email
support@kingdomedgealgo.comwith your Stripe receipt number — KingdomEdge Support will resend manually
What happens next
The welcome email contains your login link for kingdomedgealgo.com (the member portal). Step 2 walks you through creating your password and the few external account setups needed before you can use the indicators.
← Start here | Next: Step 2 — Account Setup →
Account Setup — TradingView
- Free TradingView accounts can't accept Invite-Only scripts (the KE indicators are invite-only)
- Free TradingView accounts can't fire webhook alerts (required for the bot to execute)
Time: ~10 minutes · Who: All tiers · Walkthrough video: coming soon
What you'll accomplish
Set your kingdomedgealgo.com password, create a TradingView account on the Essential plan, enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on TradingView (required for automated alerts later), and — if you're new to indicators — read a 30-second primer on how the KE indicators relate to the SurgeU 6-Step Surge Strategy you already learned.
🆕 Coming from SurgeU? Read this 30-second primer first
If you've been doing the SurgeU 6-Step Surge Strategy by hand — annotating charts manually for Curve, Trend, Zone, and S.E.T.S. — TradingView indicators may be unfamiliar territory. Here's how they fit:
- An indicator is a small piece of software that runs on a TradingView chart and outputs values automatically. The KingdomEdge indicators perform Steps 1 through 5 of the Surge Strategy for you: they look at the chart, compute the Curve position, the Trend direction, the Zone, the Surge Score, and signal a S.E.T.S. trade — all in real time, no manual annotation required.
- You still apply the methodology. The indicators give you the inputs (HIGH curve position, BULLISH trend, fresh zone, score 8.5, BUY signal). You — or the bot on the Ultimate tier — decide whether to take the trade based on those inputs.
- The methodology IS the indicators. Same vocabulary you learned in SurgeU: Curve, Trend, Zone, S.E.T.S., HIGH/MED/LOW grades, 0–10 Surge Score. Just automated.
Think of it as: SurgeU taught you to read the chart. The indicators read it for you. You still decide what to do.
Step 2 has three parts
2A — Set your kingdomedgealgo.com password (1 min)
a. Open the welcome email from support@kingdomedgealgo.com (the one you received after subscribing in Step 1).
b. Click the "Set Your Password" button or link in the email.
💡 Lost your welcome email or already deleted it? Use the Lost your password? link at
kingdomedgealgo.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword— enter your subscriber email and you'll receive a reset email like the one below. Either path lands you on the same password form.
c. Click the link in either email. You'll land on the WordPress password creation form.
d. Choose a strong password. Click Set Password.
d. You'll be logged into the member area at kingdomedgealgo.com automatically.
2B — TradingView account on Essential plan (5 min)
You'll need a paid TradingView account because: - Free TradingView accounts can't accept Invite-Only scripts (like the KE indicators) - Free TradingView accounts can't fire webhook alerts (required for automation on Ultimate/Concierge)
The minimum required tier is Essential (~$12.95/mo billed annually).
a. Go to tradingview.com/pricing.
b. Click Essential (or upgrade your existing TradingView account to Essential).
c. Complete TradingView's signup / upgrade flow.
💡 If you already have a TradingView Essential, Plus, or Premium account, skip this part.
2C — Enable Two-Factor Authentication on TradingView (2 min · required)
This is the gotcha most subscribers don't expect. TradingView blocks webhook alerts (which the KingdomEdge bot needs in Ultimate/Concierge tiers) until 2FA is enabled on your account. Better to enable it now during setup than discover the requirement when you're trying to create an alert later.
a. Click your profile icon at the top-right of TradingView → Account & billing.
b. Left sidebar → Profile & Privacy → scroll to Two-factor authentication.
c. Toggle 2FA on.
d. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app: - If you don't have one, install Google Authenticator, Authy, or Microsoft Authenticator from your phone's app store (all free) - The same app works for both TradingView AND Alpaca later (Step 5) — don't install separate apps
e. Enter the 6-digit code from your phone into the box on TradingView's screen.
f. Done — TradingView confirms 2FA is on.
2D — Send your TradingView username to KingdomEdge
So KingdomEdge Support can grant you access to the indicators before Step 3:
a. Click your profile icon at the top-right of TradingView → your username is shown at the top of the menu (it's the @handle, not your display name and not your email).
b. Send the username to support@kingdomedgealgo.com via reply to your welcome email, or DM the team in Discord once you join in Step 8.
✅ You should now see
- You're logged into kingdomedgealgo.com (your profile shows the tier you subscribed to)
- You're logged into TradingView on at least the Essential plan
- TradingView 2FA is enabled (Account → Profile & Privacy shows "Two-factor authentication: On")
- You've sent KingdomEdge your TradingView username
If something didn't work
- Welcome email didn't arrive? Go back to Step 1 § "If you don't see the welcome email"
- TradingView won't accept 2FA? Confirm your phone's clock is synced (authenticator codes are time-based — drift breaks them)
- TradingView free plan rejected by checkout? You can sometimes start a free trial of Essential; if not, billing is required upfront
What happens next
Once KingdomEdge Support receives your TradingView username, the team grants you access to the 5 indicators. Step 3 shows you where to find them in TradingView after the grant lands (usually instant, sometimes 1–2 min cache delay).
← Step 1 — Subscribe | Next: Step 3 — Find Your Indicators →
Get Indicator Access
Time: ~3 minutes · Who: All tiers · Walkthrough video: coming soon
What you'll accomplish
Find the 5 KingdomEdge indicators in your TradingView account after KingdomEdge grants you access. This is the #1 source of confusion for new subscribers — Invite-Only scripts do NOT show up in TradingView's main indicator search. You have to look in a specific tab.
Before you start
Your TradingView access is granted automatically based on the username you entered at signup. Most subscribers see indicator access within 4 business hours (Ultimate/Concierge tiers within 2 hours during business hours).
Confirm access has been granted:
- ✉️ Check your inbox — you'll receive an "Indicators are ready!" email from support@kingdomedgealgo.com when access is granted
- 💬 Or check Discord (after Step 8) — #announcements or DM if you can't find the email
Self-serve: what TradingView username did I give?
Forgot what you typed at checkout, or worried you typo'd it? Your Welcome Hub shows the username we have on file:
➡ Open your Welcome Hub — your TradingView username appears in the "TradingView Setup" section. You can update it from there if it's wrong.
🛟 Need to change it? Submit the new username via the Welcome Hub form (preferred — automatic) or email
support@kingdomedgealgo.comwith both your old + new username. We re-grant access against the new username within 4 business hours.
Edge case: I'm a legacy subscriber (signed up before 2026-06-18)
If you signed up before our checkout form started collecting TV username, you likely entered it via the post-purchase Welcome Hub instead. Same path applies: open your Welcome Hub → the form pre-fills with your saved username (if any). Enter or update it from there.
Steps
a. Open any chart on TradingView (any symbol — try SPY or AAPL to keep it simple).
b. Click the Indicators button at the top of the chart. It's the fx icon in the toolbar, between the indicator search bar and the chart settings.
c. The "Indicators, metrics, and strategies" dialog opens.
d. ⚠ Don't type "KingdomEdge" in the search bar at the top. The main search only finds public/built-in indicators. Invite-Only scripts (which the KE indicators are) don't show up there. If you search "kingdomedge" you'll see "No indicators matched your criteria" — that's not a missing grant; that's the wrong tab.
If you search the main Indicators tab for 'KingdomEdge', you'll see no results — that's expected. Invite-only scripts don't appear in the main search. Click the Invite-only tab in the left sidebar instead.
e. Click the "Invite-only" tab in the left sidebar. It's the third item down under the PERSONAL section, with the people icon. Personal: Favorites → My scripts → Invite-only → Purchased.
f. You should see 5 indicators listed (one row each, indicator name first):
- Curve Analysis KingdomEdge Algo
- Trend KingdomEdge Algo
- Zone KingdomEdge Algo
- SETS Trade KingdomEdge Algo
- KE Screener (Pro/Ultimate/Concierge only — Core subscribers see the 4 trade indicators above)
💡 What does each indicator do? All 5 are explained in detail in Step 4. For now: trust that you have them, click through to Step 4 to actually USE them.
✅ You should now see
The 5 KE indicators (or 4, if you're on Core) in the Invite-only tab of the Indicators dialog. They're not yet on your chart — Step 4 covers that.
If the Invite-only tab is empty
Three possible causes, in descending likelihood:
-
Cache. TradingView aggressively caches your indicator list after an access grant. Hard-refresh your browser (Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows, Cmd+Shift+R on Mac), or log out and back in.
-
Username mismatch. The username you entered at signup must EXACTLY match your TradingView @handle (case-insensitive). TradingView matches on the handle, not your display name and not your email.
Common error: Entering "John Smith" when the actual username is jsmith2024.
How to verify: Open your Welcome Hub → it shows the exact username we have on file. Compare it to your TradingView profile (sign into TradingView → top-right avatar → the @handle below your display name).
How to fix: If the username on file is wrong, submit a correction via the Welcome Hub form or email support@kingdomedgealgo.com with old + new username. New access grants within 4 business hours.
- Free plan. Invite-Only scripts require a paid TradingView plan (Essential or higher). If you're still on the Free plan, the indicators won't appear even with a valid grant. Upgrade per Step 2B.
What happens next
You can see them in the list, but they're not yet visible on your chart.
✅ Step 3 complete
You've located the 5 KingdomEdge indicators. Nothing's on a chart yet — that's Step 4.
🔜 Coming up in Step 4 (~10 min)
Open a chart, apply each of the 5 indicators in order (Curve → Trend → Zone → SETS Trade → Screener), and position the dashboards. You don't need to configure anything yet — Step 4 walks the visual setup; deeper settings come later via the SETS Trade walkthrough in the Reference section.
← Step 2 — Account Setup | Next: Step 4 — Apply Indicators to Your Chart →
Apply the 5 Indicators to Your Chart
Time: ~10 minutes · Who: All tiers · Walkthrough video: coming soon
🔙 Picking up from Step 3
You confirmed the 5 KingdomEdge indicators show up in your TradingView Invite-only tab. Now you put them on a chart and lay out the dashboards so you can actually read them.
What you'll accomplish
Add the 5 (or 4 for Core) KingdomEdge indicators to a chart, understand what each one shows, configure the dashboard so it's readable on your screen, and end with a working live view of the SurgeU 6-Step Surge Strategy automated.
Before you start
Step 3 should be complete — you can see the 5 indicators in the Invite-only tab of TradingView's Indicators dialog. If not, finish Step 3 first.
What each indicator does (one line each)
| Indicator | Surge Strategy step | Output on chart |
|---|---|---|
| Curve Analysis KingdomEdge Algo | Step 1 — Set Curve | One-cell dashboard: HIGH / MIDDLE / LOW position inside the channel + CSH/CSL reference points |
| Trend KingdomEdge Algo | Step 2 — Check Trend | One-cell dashboard: BULLISH / BEARISH / NEUTRAL + R² strength (WEAK / MODERATE / STRONG / EXTREME) |
| Zone KingdomEdge Algo | Step 3 — Identify Zones | Visual zones on the chart (wick-to-wick) + S&R dashboard |
| SETS Trade KingdomEdge Algo | Steps 4-6 — Score · S.E.T.S. · Place Order | The decision dashboard: Score 0-10, HIGH/MED/LOW grade, BUY/SELL signal with entry, SL, 3 TPs |
| KE Screener (Pro+ only) | Daily filter | Scan-only table of 20 (Pro) / 35 (Ultimate) tickers ranked by Surge Score — doesn't fire trade signals, just helps you pick which charts to look at |
Detailed methodology is in the demo videos Parts 1–5 at kingdomedgealgo.com/demos. This step gets the indicators visible; the videos teach you to read them.
Steps
4A — Apply the 4 trade indicators to a chart
a. Open a chart on TradingView. Recommended starting symbol: SOXL on the 1h timeframe (this is the chart KingdomEdge uses for signal validation and demo material).
⚠️ Use standard candles, not Heiken Ashi. TradingView's Heiken Ashi (and Renko, Range, Line Break) chart types break webhook alert payloads — the ticker field gets serialized as a chart-spec JSON object instead of a clean symbol, and your automation (TradersPost or the KE-hosted bot) can't parse the alert. Always use the standard candles chart type for any chart that fires alerts to your automation. If you want to view Heiken Ashi for analysis, do that on a separate chart with no alerts attached.
Pine v2.1.0 (published 2026-06-04) makes this safer — the bot can now parse alerts from Heiken Ashi / dividend-adjusted / Renko / Range / Line Break charts without breaking. If you're seeing the indicator dashboard show
v2.1.0or later in its title bar, you're on the patched version. (You can still see better signal quality on standard candles, so the recommendation stands.)
b. Click Indicators → Invite-only tab (as in Step 3).
c. Click each of the 4 trade indicators in order — Curve Analysis, then Trend, then Zone, then SETS Trade. Each one adds to your chart when clicked.
d. Close the Indicators dialog (X in the corner).
e. You should see 4 separate dashboard panels stacked or arranged on your chart, plus chart-overlay drawings (zones, channel lines, trend bias).
4B — Position the dashboards
The 4 dashboards can stack on each other. To organize:
a. Right-click any dashboard on the chart → Settings (or click the gear icon if it's pinned).
b. Look for Dashboard Position (each indicator has its own). Options: Top Left / Top Right / Bottom Left / Bottom Right.
c. Set them to corners that don't overlap. Common arrangement: - SETS Trade → Top Right (the most important — your trade decision) - Trend → Top Left - Curve → Bottom Left - Zone → Bottom Right
4C — Adjust dashboard text size (smaller screens)
If the dashboard text is too small to read on your screen:
a. Right-click any indicator's dashboard → Settings.
b. Look for the Display input group → Dashboard text size.
c. Pick Normal or Large if you're on a laptop screen. Pick Huge if you're going to screen-share with subscribers (we use this on setup calls).
d. Repeat for all 4 (or 5) indicators — each has its own dashboard text size selector.
4D — (Pro / Ultimate only) Add KE Screener
a. Open a separate TradingView chart layout for screening (not your trading chart — the screener uses a different rendering).
b. Indicators → Invite-only → KE Screener → click to add.
c. KE Screener runs as a multi-symbol table at the bottom of the chart. It scans 20 tickers (Pro) or 35 tickers (Ultimate) once per bar and ranks them by Surge Score.
⚠ The Screener does NOT fire trade signals. It's a daily filter — "of these 20–35 watched tickers, which scored HIGH today?" You then pull up those chart(s) to evaluate with the 4 trade indicators. It's a watchlist tool, not a signal source.
4E — Ultimate + Concierge — SETS Trade Alerts config preview
If you're on Ultimate (TradersPost path) or Concierge (KE-hosted bot), the SETS Trade indicator has an ALERTS input group you'll fully configure in Step 6. Here's the correct target state so you know what "done" looks like:
| Input | Setting (v2.9.5+ default) |
|---|---|
| TradersPost JSON Format | ✅ ON (default in Pine v2.9.5+) — emits the JSON TradersPost expects |
| TP Target Preference | TP2 (2R – balanced) — matches the default methodology |
| Emergency kill — disable all alerts | ❌ OFF |
⚠️ After changing any Pine Input, press Ctrl+S to save the chart layout. TradingView does not persist input changes across refresh unless you save.
Detailed step-by-step wiring happens in Step 6 — Wire TradersPost. Right now (Step 4), just con
Connect Your Broker via TradersPost
Time: ~5 minutes reading + ~10-15 min opening broker account (if you don't have one) · Who: Ultimate (TradersPost path) · Concierge subscribers skip this — Mark handles broker keys directly during the 60-min white-glove call · Pro / Core subscribers can skip too — you don't automate execution
Why this step is short now
The old KE-hosted bot required you to paste broker API keys into KingdomEdge. That is no longer how execution works.
In the new architecture (Path A, 2026-07 forward): - You subscribe to TradersPost in Step 6 - TradersPost connects to your broker via OAuth (you log in to your broker through TradersPost's UI — no API keys to copy/paste anywhere) - KingdomEdge never touches your broker credentials
So Step 5 becomes a prerequisite check, not a walkthrough. Make sure your broker account exists and works. Then go to Step 6.
What you need before Step 6
✅ A broker account (recommended: Alpaca Paper)
If you don't have a broker yet: 1. Go to alpaca.markets → Sign up 2. Verify your email 3. Complete the identity verification (SSN, address — required for US brokerage regulation) 4. Enable Paper Trading in your Alpaca dashboard (starts with $99K+ of test capital, no real money)
~10-15 min end-to-end. No trading experience required to open a paper account.
If you already have a broker — see the Broker Matrix to confirm TradersPost supports it. Skip to Step 6.
✅ Login credentials at hand
You'll need your broker username + password ready when Step 6 asks you to connect via OAuth. You will NOT need API keys.
✅ Two-factor authentication ready
TradersPost's OAuth flow will prompt for your broker's 2FA if you have it enabled. Have your phone / authenticator app nearby.
What to skip (and why)
❌ Don't paste API keys into KingdomEdge. That was the old KE-hosted flow. Retired for mass-market subscribers 2026-07-08. If you see instructions to paste API keys into a KE dashboard, you're on an outdated doc.
❌ Don't confuse TradingView's "Trading Panel" with KE automation. TradingView has a built-in feature at the bottom of any chart that connects to Alpaca/OANDA for manual order placement. That is NOT KingdomEdge automation. KE signals route through TradersPost (Step 6) for automatic bracket order placement. If you're troubleshooting "alerts fire but no trade executes," 9 times out of 10 you accidentally wired TV's Trading Panel and skipped TradersPost setup.
❌ Don't paper-trade on your live account. Alpaca (and most brokers) offers separate Live and Paper environments. Complete Step 5 with a Paper account. You can enable Live later after 2-4 weeks of clean paper trading.
Cost expectations for the full stack
You'll see the full cost story in What You Own, but the short version:
| Line item | Cost | Who bills you |
|---|---|---|
| KE Algo Ultimate | $249/mo | KingdomEdge Algo Inc. |
| TradingView Premium (required for webhook alerts) | ~$60/mo | TradingView |
| TradersPost Starter (7-day free trial, then $49/mo) | $49/mo | TradersPost directly |
| Alpaca (or your broker) | $0/mo | Free brokerage |
| All-in monthly | ~$358/mo | 3 vendors |
KE does not reimburse TradersPost. You manage that subscription directly with TradersPost from day 1. Their 7-day trial covers your Step 6 setup + validation.
Ready?
Once you have: - ✅ Broker account open + verified - ✅ Paper Trading enabled (or your existing broker credentials ready) - ✅ Login + 2FA at hand
You're ready for Step 6 — Wire TradersPost — the linear 10-step walkthrough with 22 screenshots that connects everything.
Concierge tier — different path
If you're on the Concierge Mentor tier ($499/mo), skip Step 5 + Step 6 entirely. Mark handles all broker + TradersPost + indicator configuration on a 60-minute white-glove screen-share call. Schedule via your Welcome Hub. See Concierge Setup Walkthrough for details.
Step 5 v3 · 2026-07-09 (Path A rewrite — retired 10.5 KB of API-key-paste content, replaced with 3 KB prerequisite check. Broker connection now happens in Step 6 via TradersPost OAuth).
Wire TradersPost to the Bot
Time: ~25 minutes · Who: Ultimate (TradersPost path — default) · Concierge subscribers: KingdomEdge wires this for you in a 60-min setup call · 📺 Walkthrough video: KingdomEdge Algo · TradersPost Setup Walkthrough (Pine v2.9.5) — 8 min · Part 5 of the KingdomEdge series
⚠ Don't want to wire this yourself?
The Concierge tier ($499/mo) includes full white-glove setup — KingdomEdge wires TradersPost + your broker for you in a 60-min setup call. Learn more about Concierge →
If you're on Ultimate ($249/mo) or self-setting-up as Concierge, keep reading. Most subscribers complete Step 6 in 20–35 minutes the first time.
The 4-system flow at a glance
Step 6 is the highest-friction page in the library. You're juggling 4 systems simultaneously — TradingView indicator + TradingView alert + TradersPost strategy + your broker account. The most common reason "alerts fire but nothing trades" is a single toggle in the wrong state — usually one of the 4 highlighted in the diagram below.
Read this diagram first. It shows what must be ✓ in each system, what silently fails when any of them is wrong, and an 8-item validation checklist you'll tick off by the end of Step 6.
🛟 Stuck at any point? Book a 15-minute screen share via your Welcome Hub Calendly card. We unblock you in real time. If you've spent 45+ minutes on Step 6, please reach out — that's a signal we should pair on it together.
📌 Maintenance note: This walkthrough was re-verified on 2026-07-09 against live TradersPost UI + a fresh signup end-to-end. Screenshots below are from that verification session. If TradersPost has updated their dashboard since, the underlying logic is unchanged — Broker → Strategy → Subscription → Webhook still holds.
What this step does
Connects your broker to TradingView via TradersPost — a third-party execution bridge that takes signals from your KE SETS Trade indicator and turns them into bracket orders in your broker account. You own the TradersPost subscription. You own the broker keys. KingdomEdge owns the indicator. Three separate platforms; each owns its lane.
What you're about to do: 1. Sign up for TradersPost (free 7-day trial) 2. Connect your broker (paper mode first) 3. Create a strategy with the right defaults 4. Subscribe your broker account to the strategy 5. Copy the webhook URL 6. Configure your KE SETS Trade indicator to emit TradersPost-spec JSON 7. Save your chart layout (easy to miss — critical) 8. Create a TradingView alert pointing at your TradersPost webhook 9. Send a TradersPost test signal to verify the pipeline 10. Watch a real KE SETS signal fire end-to-end
6A. Sign up for TradersPost (~3 min)
Visit traderspost.io — the landing page shows 4 pricing tiers. Yearly-billed rates start at $41.65/mo (Starter); monthly-billed rates are ~$49+/mo. The 7-day free trial covers your first strategy — no credit card required.
Click Start now (top-right) or one of the "Get started" buttons under the Starter tier.
You'll be routed through the signup flow. If you already have an account, use Log in instead:
The signup form is a 4-step wizard. Step 1 collects your basic info:
Fill in your details. Under "How did you hear about us?" select "Other" or "KingdomEdge Algo" — TP tracks source for their analytics. Then click Continue.
Step 2 asks about your goals and asset class:
Recommended selections for KE SETS Trade subscribers: - ✅ Systematic or automated trading — this is the KE SETS use case (rule-based, not discretionary) - ✅ Stocks as primary asset class
Skip the other options for now. You can enable more later. Click Continue through the remaining steps and land on the TradersPost dashboard.
6B. Connect your broker (~5 min)
The most important architectural decision at Step 6: which broker executes your KE SETS signals? For first-time subscribers, we always recommend Alpaca Paper for the first 2–4 weeks. Free, instant, no real capital at risk while you validate the pipeline.
Left sidebar → Brokers → you'll see the full list of 15 supported brokers:
Click Alpaca (or your preferred broker from the list). You'll be routed through OAuth — TradersPost redirects you to your broker to authorize the connection.
⚠️ Do not connect your Live broker account first. Connect the paper account. Once complete, you'll see the Broker Setup page confirming success:
If Alpaca returned BOTH your Live and Paper accounts, you'll see two rows. Enable ONLY the Paper account:
- Find the Paper account row (has "Paper" tag next to it)
- Click the checkbox on the LEFT of that row
- Leave the Live account row UNCHECKED for now
- Click Save at the top
The Paper account row should now show a green Enabled badge:
Paper Alpaca comes pre-funded with $99K+ of test capital. You can safely fire hundreds of test signals without touching real money. Leave the Live account disabled until you complete 2–4 weeks of successful paper trading and understand exactly what's happening.
6C. Create your KingdomEdge strategy (~5 min)
Left sidebar → Strategies → you'll see an empty state:
Click + New Strategy (top-right).
You land on the Strategy configuration form. Fill it with these values:
| Field | Recommended | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Name | KE SETS Trade |
Simple, matches the indicator name — easy to identify in logs |
| Description | (leave blank) | Skip for now |
| Style | Systematic | Rule-based automation, not discretionary |
| Asset class | Stocks | (Or Futures/Options when KE publishes those Pine indicators) |
| Allowed tickers | Any tickers | Lets you use the KE Screener across multiple symbols |
| Allow auto submit | ✅ ON | Required — auto-executes signals |
| Allow live trading | ✅ ON | Harmless when only paper broker is connected; necessary later |
| Allow signal overrides | ✅ ON — CRITICAL | Lets Pine's takeProfit + stopLoss override TradersPost defaults |
Scroll down for the Notifications + Security + Subscription Defaults sections:
| Field | Recommended | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Email notifications | "No notifications" | Pine sends its own; avoids duplicates |
| Security: Allowed IPs | Any IP addresses (or TradingView for tighter security) | TradingView limits attack surface to TV's webhook source range — recommended once you're comfortable |
Click Save.
You should see a green success toast confirming:
Note the Setup counter in the top-left just jumped to 2/7 — TradersPost tracks your onboarding progress.
6D. Subscribe your broker to strategy (~3 min)
From the strategy detail page, click Subscribe (top-right button).
You'll see a "Choose Account" screen listing your enabled broker accounts:
Pick your Alpaca Paper account (the one you enabled in Step 6B). If you don't have Alpaca connected, you can use the built-in TradersPost Paper ($100K sandbox) for instant validation.
Next, confirm the subscription:
Click ✓ Create Subscription.
You land on the subscription detail page. CRITICAL — look carefully at the top-right badge row:
Two defaults will trip up new subscribers — fix both now:
- "Disabled" badge (red) → toggle to "Enabled" (green)
- "Manual Submit" mode → toggle to "Auto Submit" (blue)
Without both of these, signals hit the webhook but don't execute. This is the single most common Setup Playbook failure mode.
Click Save if prompted. Confirm the badges now show: - 🟢 Enabled (green) - 🔵 Auto Submit (blue) - 📡 Webhook (blue)
The subscription is now armed to receive signals from your webhook and auto-fire them to your broker.
💡 Pro tip — parallel subscriptions: You can subscribe multiple broker accounts to the same strategy. A common pattern: Alpaca Paper (for validation) + TradersPost Paper (for redundant testing). Both fire on the same signal. Once you trust the chain, subscribe your live account when ready.
6E. Copy your webhook URL (~30 sec)
Return to the Strategy detail page (breadcrumbs top-left: Strategies → KE SETS Trade).
Top-right → click the Webhook dropdown button:
A modal opens with your unique webhook URL:
Format: https://webhooks.traderspost.io/trading/webhook/<id>/<secret>
Click Copy. URL is now in your clipboard.
⚠️ Keep this URL private. Anyone with it can send signals to your strategy. Never paste in screenshots, public chats, or emails. If it leaks, click Generate New and update your TradingView alert.
The modal also shows example JSON payloads for different platforms. You do NOT need to copy or edit any JSON — your KE SETS Pine indicator emits the right format automatically. These are shown for reference in case you ever need to manually construct a payload for testing.
Close the modal.
6F. Configure your KE SETS Trade indicator (~2 min)
Back in TradingView. Open the chart where you want KE SETS to run (typically SOXL 30m, SPY 15m, or your preferred ticker/timeframe combo).
Apply the KE SETS Trade indicator via Indicators button → search "KE SETS" → click to add. Your chart should now display the full KE SETS dashboard:
Now configure the indicator settings for TradersPost mode:
- Double-click "KE SETS" in the chart legend (top-left of the chart)
- The Settings dialog opens on the Inputs tab
- Configure the ALERTS section EXACTLY as shown below:

Critical settings:
| Input | Value | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Emergency kill | ❌ UNCHECKED | Only check this to disable all signals in an emergency |
| TP Target Preference | TP2 (2R - balanced) | Matches the Life Surge methodology default |
| TradersPost JSON Format | ✅ CHECKED (default in Pine v2.9.5+) | Emits the TradersPost-spec JSON payload |
| KE Screener URL Base | https://kingdomedgealgo.com/screener |
Default — auto-fills correctly |
Execution Settings section (below Alerts):
| Input | Recommended | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Risk Profile Preset | Conservative | Sensible defaults for first 2–4 weeks |
| Auto-calculate Position Size | ✅ ON | Sizes trades based on your risk parameters |
| Max Risk per Trade ($) | 100 | Reasonable for first month of paper testing |
| Minimum R:R Threshold | 3 | Skips low-quality setups |
| Max Position Notional (% of Account) | 10 | Cap on any single trade's size |
| Trailing Stop ATR Multiplier Boost | 1 | Default |
Click Ok to close the Settings dialog.
6G. 🚨 SAVE YOUR CHART LAYOUT (~10 sec) — DO NOT SKIP
This is the single most important step in this entire page. Skip it and your Pine input toggles will silently revert on the next refresh, causing every alert to fail with "Malformed JSON" errors at TradersPost.
Press Ctrl+S (Windows) or ⌘+S (Mac).
Alternatively, click the Cloud icon in the top-right of the TradingView interface (near your username avatar) — if it has a red dot or "unsaved" indicator, click it to sync your chart layout.
Watch for confirmation: - Top-left of TradingView: floppy-disk save icon may briefly highlight - Small "Chart saved" toast may appear - Chart-name tab loses its "unsaved" indicator (dot or asterisk)
⚠️ If you're on an unnamed/temporary chart layout, Ctrl+S may do nothing — you need to first name and save the layout via the cloud icon. Then subsequent Ctrl+S saves work correctly.
Why this matters: TradingView auto-saves data changes (drawings, indicator additions) but NOT indicator input values unless you explicitly save the layout. Pine input toggle changes (like the TradersPost JSON Format you just checked) fall into the second category. If you don't save the layout, TradingView will re-load the OLD input values on the next chart refresh — and Pine will emit the WRONG format.
This is a TradingView platform quirk, not a KE issue. Every Pine-indicator user hits this. Save the layout after every input change.
6H. Create your TradingView alert (~3 min)
With the chart layout saved, you're ready to wire the alert.
Right-click anywhere on your chart → Add Alert (or press Alt+A, or click the alarm/bell icon top-right).
The Create Alert dialog opens. Configure:
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Condition (first dropdown) | Select KE SETS Trade — the indicator name |
| Condition (second dropdown) | Select Any alert() function call — CRITICAL, don't pick "BUY signal" or "SELL signal" |
| Interval | Same as chart (5m, 15m, 30m — whatever your chart is set to) |
| Expiration | Open-ended (or set a longer expiration) |
| Alert name | e.g. KE SETS — SOXL 30m (TradersPost) |
| Message field | 🔴 LEAVE AS AUTO-POPULATED BY TV — do NOT replace |
🔴 CRITICAL — the Message field trap:
When you select the Condition dropdown (KE SETS Trade), TradingView auto-populates the Message field with the JSON template that Pine emits. It should look something like:
{"ticker":"{{ticker}}","action":"buy","sentiment":"long","price":{{close}},...
DO NOT REPLACE this with {{strategy.order.alert_message}}. That template variable only works for Pine STRATEGY scripts (using strategy.entry() / strategy.exit()). KE SETS is an INDICATOR (uses alert() function calls). Leaving the Message field as auto-populated is correct.
If your Message field shows plain-text like KE SETS (K!ngd0mEdge$!, TP2 (2R - balanced), https://... instead of JSON, STOP and go back to Step 6F + 6G — your Pine toggle isn't saved correctly. Every alert will fail at TradersPost with Malformed JSON.
Notifications section:
Click Notifications at the bottom to expand:
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Notify in app | ✅ ON (mobile push) |
| Show toast notification | ✅ ON (visual confirmation) |
| Send email | ✅ ON (backup delivery) |
| Webhook URL | ✅ CHECKED — paste the TradersPost webhook URL from Step 6E |
| Play sound | ✅ ON (Cash register recommended, Once) |
| Send plain text | ❌ UNCHECK (would send a garbled email since your Message is JSON) |
| Notification schedule | 24/7 |
Click Apply on Notifications → back to Create Alert dialog → click Create.
The alert is now armed. It will fire every time KE SETS emits a BUY or SELL signal on this chart.
You can verify alert fires in the TradingView Alerts panel (bell icon, right sidebar) or the Alert Log:
Each row shows the timestamp, ticker, timeframe, payload preview, and delivery status. Green checkmark = webhook delivered successfully.
6I. Send a TradersPost test signal (~1 min) — validation shortcut
Instead of waiting for a real KE SETS signal to fire (which could take hours depending on market volatility), you can PROVE the pipeline works right now by sending a fake test signal directly from TradersPost.
Back in TradersPost → Strategies → your KE SETS Trade strategy → click the ⋮ menu (three dots, top-right) → Submit Signal.
You'll land on the Submit Signal form:
Recommended test config:
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Ticker | SPY (liquid, easy fill) |
| Action button | Buy (green) |
| Order type | Market (fills immediately) |
| Quantity type | Fixed |
| Fixed quantity | 1 (~$500 — paper account easily affords) |
| Cancel open orders | Default |
| Ignore trading windows | ✅ CHECK (bypasses time-of-day gate) |
| Include a take profit? | Leave UNCHECKED for first test |
Scroll to bottom → click Submit.
Within 30 seconds you should see:
- SIGNALS panel (right side) populates with 1/1 · Buy @ $XXX.XX · SPY — green checkmark = success
- OPEN ORDERS briefly shows the pending market order
- OPEN POSITION updates to +1 SPY long
- CLOSED ORDERS confirms the fill
If you see a red "Failed" or "Malformed Json" entry instead, screenshot the details and reach out for help — that indicates a config issue in your strategy or subscription.
6J. Watch a real KE SETS signal fire
Now the waiting game. When KE SETS emits a BUY or SELL on your chart, the full chain fires automatically:
- TradingView side: Alert fires. Cash register sound + toast + mobile push. Alert Log shows "Webhook successfully delivered."
- TradersPost side: Signals tab shows the new signal with green Success badge:
- Broker side: Your Alpaca Paper account executes the bracket order. Full entry + stop loss + take profit legs materialize:
Each order is tagged with the TradersPost signal ID (visible in Source column), letting you trace any trade back to its original signal.
Don't expect signals every minute. A KE SETS Trade on 1H or 30m typically fires 1–5 times per day on an active ticker. If you want more firing activity for validation, add a faster-firing alert on a 5m or 15m chart on a busy ticker (NVDA, TSLA, SPY, SOXL).
✅ Before you continue — validation checklist
Don't skip this step. Each item below must be ✓ before your automation is reliably wired. If any is unclear, scroll back up to that specific system and re-verify.
In TradingView (your KE SETS Trade indicator):
- [ ] TradersPost JSON Format toggle is ON
- [ ] KE Screener URL Base is set to https://kingdomedgealgo.com/screener
- [ ] Chart layout is SAVED (Ctrl+S / Cloud icon synced)
In TradingView (your alert):
- [ ] Condition first dropdown is KE SETS Trade (not Price)
- [ ] Condition second dropdown is Any alert() function call
- [ ] Webhook URL is pasted from your TradersPost strategy detail page
- [ ] Message field shows JSON ({"ticker":"{{ticker}}",...) — NOT plain-text KE SETS text
In TradersPost:
- [ ] Broker is connected + Paper account Enabled (green badge)
- [ ] Strategy is created and named KE SETS Trade
- [ ] Allow auto submit is ON in the strategy settings
- [ ] Subscription shows Enabled + Auto Submit badges (both green/blue)
- [ ] Test signal via 6I fired successfully (green Success in Signals tab)
12/12 checked? You're wired end-to-end. Move on to Step 7. If any is unchecked, find the missing one — your trades won't fire reliably until all are ✓.
When something doesn't work
The #1 cause of "alerts fire but no trades execute" is one of:
TradersPost JSON Formattoggle is OFF — Pine v2.9.5+ defaults it ON, but if you're on an older Pine version OR you unchecked it, re-check and Ctrl+S the chart layout.- Message field replaced with
{{strategy.order.alert_message}}— leave as TV auto-populated (should show JSON like{"ticker":"{{ticker}}",...). - Subscription shows "Disabled" or "Manual Submit" — must be Enabled + Auto Submit (both green/blue badges).
- Wrong Condition dropdown — must be "KE SETS Trade" → "Any alert() function call", not "Price → Crossing."
For other issues → Troubleshooting or support@kingdomedgealgo.com.
Push notifications — getting alerts on your phone
Once execution is wired, you'll want mobile awareness of trades as they fire. There are two complementary paths:
Path 1 — TradingView mobile push (recommended for everyone)
Your TradingView alert (the one you wired to the TradersPost webhook in Step 6H) also fires a notification to your TradingView mobile app by default. The notification ends with the Chart: link introduced in Pine v2.9.3 — tap it to land on the per-ticker page on kingdomedgealgo.com/screener/<TICKER>.
To verify push is enabled: 1. Open the TradingView mobile app → Profile → Notifications 2. Confirm "Allow Push Notifications" is ON 3. (Optional) Use the alert's settings dialog on desktop to toggle "Notify on app" — most alerts have this on by default
This path gives you situational awareness of every signal fire — including grade tier, score, levels, and the deep-link chart. It's the canonical KingdomEdge subscriber notification experience.
Path 2 — TradersPost integrations (for trade-execution confirmation)
TradersPost's own dashboard supports push notifications for executed trades (vs. signal fires). Configure:
- Sign into the TradersPost web dashboard → Account → Notifications
- Connect your preferred channel:
- Email — included on all plans, on by default
- SMS — paid add-on; useful if you're in environments where email isn't watched
- Discord webhook — drops trade-execution confirmations into a Discord channel of your choice
- Telegram — for those who prefer Telegram over Discord
- Choose which events trigger notifications: position opened, position closed, errors, etc.
This path confirms what actually executed at your broker, which is slightly different from "what the indicator signaled." Differences happen when: - Slippage moved your fill price - TradersPost rejected a signal (e.g., insufficient buying power) - Your account hit a TradersPost or broker rule (overnight block, weekend block, etc.)
Why use both
- TradingView push = "the system told me to trade." Real-time signal awareness.
- TradersPost push = "the trade actually happened." Real-time fill confirmation.
For Concierge subscribers (KE-hosted bot path), both fire automatically and there's a Discord bot that mirrors fills to a private subscriber channel.

Watch Your First Trade
Time: ~5 minutes · Who: Pro / Ultimate / Concierge · Walkthrough video: coming soon
🧭 Before trade #1 — set the right expectation
This page is more emotionally charged than the others. Your first automated trade is going to feel different from your manual trades — even if you've done hundreds of them. Read this before you watch the chain fire for the first time.
Three things to internalize:
-
About 6 of 10 trades win on average over time. That's a 61.3% win rate from our backtest (Default preset + Zone Proximity Filter on SOXL 1h bars, 62 trades, 2024-2026). Healthy systems lose trades. The system is not broken because trade #1 is a loser — and it might be.
-
Don't judge the system on the first 3 trades. Don't even judge it on the first 10. Statistical edges show up over dozens of fires. If you ran 10 trades and 6 won and 4 lost, the system is working as expected. If you ran 10 and 3 won, you're inside normal variance — wait for trade 20 before forming an opinion.
-
Your job at trade #1 is to verify the WIRING, not the PROFIT. Did the signal fire? Did TradersPost receive it? Did your broker fill the order? Did the bracket (entry + stop + take-profit) attach correctly? Those are the questions. The P&L outcome is secondary.
💬 From an early subscriber: "My first paper trade lost $47. I almost canceled. I'm glad I didn't — by trade #15 I was up ~$340 and the math made sense."
If you feel anxiety building as the signal fires, take a breath. The system is doing exactly what it was built to do — including the losing trades, which are priced into the 2.75 profit factor. Trust the process for 10 fires, then re-evaluate.
📝 Journal your first trade (R9.4)
After your first signal fires, take 5 minutes to journal what you observed. This single habit compounds enormously over the next 90 days.
Why journal?
The methodology is static. Your relationship with it deepens over hundreds of fires. Most of that deepening happens through noticing patterns — and you can only notice patterns if you wrote down what you saw.
Three reasons subscribers who journal outperform subscribers who don't:
- Pattern recognition. "I notice my best trades happen between 9:30 and 10:30 AM PT" is not visible until you've journaled enough trades to see it.
- Discipline reinforcement. Writing the trade down forces you to articulate why you took it — which catches gut-overrides before they become habits.
- Methodology trust. Reading your own trade journal back after 90 days makes the case for the system better than any backtest ever could.
Trade #1 journal template
Copy-paste this into a doc, Notion page, Apple Note, or wherever you keep personal notes.
KingdomEdge Trade Journal — Trade #1
Date: [YYYY-MM-DD]
Ticker: [SOXL / SPY / NVDA / etc.]
Direction: [Buy / Sell]
Entry price: [from broker]
Stop-loss: [from broker]
Take-profit: [from broker, single-TP or TP1/TP2/TP3]
Setup grade (from KE Screener): [HIGH / MED / LOW]
Surge Score (if visible): [0–10]
Timeframe: [30m / 1h / 4h]
What I saw on the chart before entry:
[2-3 sentences — was this a clean trend continuation, a zone reversal, a breakout? What stood out?]
How did I FEEL about taking this trade?
[Honest. "Excited" / "Nervous" / "Sceptical" / "Calm" / etc.]
Exit:
[Filled at TP / Filled at SL / Manually closed / Still open]
P&L: [+X / -X / +/-Y%]
What I'd do differently next time:
[1 sentence. Can be blank if "nothing — clean trade." That's a valid answer.]
What this trade taught me about the methodology:
[1 sentence. Optional for trade #1 — likely "Need more data" — but make a habit of asking.]
Share in Discord (optional but encouraged)
KingdomEdge has a #first-trade Discord channel specifically for subscribers to share their first bot-routed trade experience. You can post anonymously (just describe the trade without your real name) or under your username. Other Bot-Active subscribers comment, ask questions, and share patterns from their own first trades.
Open Discord #first-trade channel →
💡 Posting tip: screenshot your chart with the KE indicators visible. Annotated screenshots get the best engagement and help other subscribers learn from your setup.
What to do with the journal long-term
- After 10 trades: scan back through the journal. Notice which setups you described as "clean" — did those win at a higher rate?
- After 30 trades: compare your "How did I FEEL" column to your P&L. Is there a correlation between confidence and profit? (Sometimes yes, sometimes inverse — both are useful.)
- After 90 trades: the journal becomes your personal methodology calibration tool. You'll know which tickers, timeframes, and grade thresholds work for YOU specifically — which may differ from the population baseline.
What you'll accomplish
Know exactly where to look for your trades after TradersPost starts running. The #1 cause of "I think it's broken" tickets is subscribers looking in the wrong place. This step prevents that.
⚠ Where trades do NOT show up
- Discord is NOT your trade execution log. Discord is the signal-source feed — KingdomEdge posts the signal that fires from the source chart, but your individual fills happen in your broker.
- TradingView is NOT your trade execution log either. TradingView shows you the indicator's SIGNAL (the BUY/SELL annotation), not whether the order actually filled in your broker.
- The KingdomEdge bot logs are NOT subscriber-visible (Concierge tier only). Concierge subscribers have KE-hosted infrastructure; KingdomEdge team sees those logs in Railway, but you don't have access (by design — security).
✅ Where trades DO show up — TWO places, in this order
When a SETS Trade fires, the signal flows: TradingView → TradersPost → Your Broker. You verify the chain by checking the two endpoints:
- TradersPost Signals tab — confirms the signal arrived from TradingView (the webhook delivered)
- Your Broker's Orders / Trades tab — confirms the broker accepted and executed the order
If both show what they should, your automation is working end-to-end. If TradersPost shows the signal but your broker doesn't show the order, the issue is between TradersPost and your broker. If TradersPost doesn't even show the signal, the issue is between TradingView and TradersPost (most often a misconfigured alert).
7A — TradersPost Signals tab (your first stop)
Every alert TradingView fires lands here within seconds.
a. Log into app.traderspost.io → left sidebar → Signals
b. Each row shows: timestamp, ticker, action (buy/sell), source (your strategy name), status
c. Status values you'll see:
- 🟢 success — TradersPost received the signal AND submitted the order to your broker successfully. This is the green light.
- 🟡 pending — Signal received, broker order in flight (usually flips to success or failed within seconds)
- 🔴 failed — Signal received but order placement rejected. Click the signal for the error message.
- ⚪ ignored — Signal received but didn't satisfy the strategy's conditions (e.g., trying to buy when already long)
d. Click any signal row to see the full payload + error message if any. This is your debugging tool.
💡 Look at the Signal payload first when troubleshooting. TradersPost shows you the exact JSON it received from TradingView. If the
takeProfit.limitPriceorstopLoss.stopPriceis missing or zero, the issue is on the Pine indicator side. If everything looks right butfailedappears, the issue is on the broker side.
7B — TradersPost Trades tab (the full lifecycle)
Each successful signal creates a Trade entry that you can track from open to close.
a. Left sidebar → Trades
b. Lifecycle states:
- open — entry filled, position is live, TP/SL brackets are working
- closed — TP or SL filled, position resolved
- canceled — order canceled before fill (rare; usually a TradersPost or broker timeout)
c. Click any trade to see entry price, exit price, P&L, and the linked broker order IDs.
💡 TradersPost manages the bracket order internally. Once it submits to your broker, it tracks when TP or SL fills automatically. You don't need to babysit individual TP/SL orders the way the legacy Self-Hosted bot required — TradersPost handles it.
7C — Your broker's Orders tab (the receipts)
This is where the actual money (or paper money) moves. The Trades tab on TradersPost should match what you see in your broker.
Alpaca example (most common)
a. Log into alpaca.markets → confirm Paper Trading toggle (top-left)
b. Click Orders in the left navigation
c. Each SETS Trade signal creates a single bracket order (entry + TP + SL — three legs of the same bracket, not three independent orders)
d. Order statuses:
- new or accepted — order placed, waiting for entry fill
- filled — entry executed at the listed price
- partially_filled — partial execution (rare on paper)
- canceled — order canceled (usually because the paired TP or SL filled)
- rejected — broker refused the order (insufficient buying power, symbol not tradable, etc.)
Schwab / IBKR / TradeStation / other brokers
Same concept, different UI: - Schwab StreetSmart Edge → "Order Status" tab - IBKR TWS / Client Portal → "Trades" or "Activity" tab - TradeStation → "Account Activity" → "Orders" - Tradier → "Activity" → "Orders"
In all of them, you're looking for: did a bracket order matching the TradersPost signal appear? Same ticker? Right action (buy/sell)? Right approximate price?
What "the bot is working" looks like in daily practice
In a typical week with TradersPost running:
- Most hours / days: empty Signals queue. SETS Trade signals only fire when the setup grades HIGH or MED on the source chart — that's often a few times per week, not multiple per day. Empty = healthy, not broken.
- When a signal fires: a
successrow appears in TradersPost Signals within ~5 seconds, then a matching bracket order appears in your broker - As the trade progresses: TradersPost Trades tab shows
openuntil TP or SL fills - Position closes: when TP or SL fills, the Trades row flips to
closedwith realized P&L
When to be concerned vs not
| Observation | Likely meaning | Action |
|---|---|---|
| No signals for 1–2 days | Normal — signals are infrequent | Wait |
| No signals for 7+ days during active market | Possibly an issue — bot offline, alert disabled, or no qualifying setups | Check TradingView alert is Active; DM KingdomEdge Support in Discord |
Signal shows failed repeatedly |
Broker rejection — usually insufficient buying power or symbol issue. Click the signal for the rejection reason | Check broker account; if persistent, DM KingdomEdge Support |
Signal shows success but broker shows no order |
Rare — broker API delay. Wait 1-2 minutes; if still missing, check broker connection status in TradersPost Brokers tab | Reconnect broker if needed |
| TradingView alert fired but no signal in TradersPost | Webhook URL wrong OR Message field wrong — see Troubleshooting | Edit the TV alert; verify webhook URL + Message = {{strategy.order.alert_message}} |
Tip: enable TradersPost notifications
You can also have TradersPost email you on signal events:
a. TradersPost → Account → Notifications
b. Turn on Email on signal success (or Only Failed Signals if you only want failure alerts)
c. Until you build the muscle to check the dashboard daily, email notifications are your safety net
💡 Phase 3 of the KE roadmap (target by Jun 25) will add push notifications via Discord webhook — TradersPost fires → KE Discord posts → you get a phone ping with the trade details. Until that ships, TradersPost email is the way.
✅ You should now see
- The TradersPost Signals tab and Trades tab in your bookmarks
- Your broker's Orders / Trades tab in your bookmarks (Alpaca / Schwab / IBKR / etc.)
- The verification flow
TradersPost Signals → Broker Ordersmentally bookmarked as "Trade Audit" - (After the first signal fires) A real bracket order appearing in your broker
What happens next
Step 7 is the last technical step. Now you're operationally live — TradersPost trades on autopilot during market hours, and you check the dashboards to monitor.
Step 8 is the community step — joining the KingdomEdge Discord where the team posts signals from the source chart, where pilot subscribers chat methodology, and where you can ask questions in real time.
← Step 6 — Wire TradersPost | Next: Step 8 — Join the Discord Community →

What you'll accomplish
Join the KingdomEdge Discord server, get the role that matches your tier (which unlocks the right channels), and know where to ask questions when you need help.
Why Discord matters
- Where KingdomEdge posts SETS Trade signals from the source chart in real time (signal feed for the community)
- Where subscribers chat about methodology, share charts, and ask questions of each other
- Where the chatbot is the first line of support (~70% of questions answered before a human looks)
- Where Sentry → #bug-reports routes bot errors in real time so issues get triaged in minutes
Steps
8A — Click the invite link
a. The Discord invite link is in your welcome email from Step 1: discord.gg/en738ANNnj
b. Click the link. If you don't have a Discord account, sign up (free). If you do, you'll be added to the server immediately.
8B — Read #welcome and #rules
a. The #welcome channel pinned messages have your orientation: the 6-step Surge Strategy briefing, the AI chatbot intro, the demo videos.
b. #rules is the community guidelines + risk disclaimer. ~10 rules.
8C — Get your tier role
Discord roles control which channels you see. The right role unlocks the right premium channels.
Roles are assigned automatically when KingdomEdge Support detects your subscription (usually within a few minutes; allow up to ~24 hours during high-volume periods).
The roles + what they unlock:
| Role | Tier | Unlocks |
|---|---|---|
| Core ⚪ | Core subscribers | #general, #methodology, #chart-shares, #bug-reports |
| Pro 🔵 | Pro subscribers | Above + #pro-strategy, #pro-questions, #chatbot-tips |
